What to expect at your first tax appointment
We are a full time tax preparation and accounting firm, not a “seasonal pop-up” tax store. This means we’re available year-round to help, as your life events and situations change. If you owe tax or expect a refund, we will let you know what your next steps are. In the event that you need to file an amendment or reference your tax return in the future, we keep a secure electronic copy of your return. You can just contact us for your information.
Above all, we are here for you. Before, during, and after you have completed your taxes with us. We can help sort out any IRS troubles, including if you need IRS representation. In addition, we can file amendments to your return, and answer questions about tax laws.
Keep in mind the sooner you file, the sooner you will receive your refund. For your refund status, you can check the “Where’s My Refund” tool on the IRS website. This tool will give you the most up-to-date refund information and is updated daily. You may access this tool as early as 24 hours after the IRS accepts your e-filed return or 4 weeks after mailing a paper return.
