We’re extremely dog-friendly here at Nissen & Associates, and our friendly office greeters would like to prove it. Our furry friends often keep us company while we work, so you may encounter one of our three resident “office greeters’ on your next visit.
If you prefer not to be greeted at the door by one of our four-legged friends, please let us know and we’ll gladly contain them before your visit. Your peace of mind is always our first priority! Contact us by phone 360-778-2901, or send us a short email.
Meet our Office Greeters
Stella the boxer
Stella is a Boxer puppy with boundless energy and love to give. She’s the newest addition to the Nissen household, and still full of young puppy enthusiasm. While it’s a known fact that boxers have high energy – Stella is no exception. She has an unlimited supply of enthusiasm for running and leaping and play. As far as we can tell, 10 mile hikes are the only thing that tires her out. She’s lucky her humans (Scott and Jean) like to hike!
Stella sits for treats and pets, but a shoulder scratch really gets her in the right spot. Please be aware…this puppy’s enthusiasm can be OVER exuberant! Stella may bounce right up for a kiss – which we’re not endorsing. (Even with consent). When you stop by the office, help us create the best tax dog ever, by only giving her attention when she has “all four on the floor”.
Dusty the pug
Dusty comes to work with our Office Manager Heather. A three-year-old Pug, Dusty is a retired AKC and CKC show champion. She’s loving “retirement” life as a family dog, while still enjoying the high level of attention and pampering to which she has become accustomed. Dusty pretty much ignores other dogs, as befitting her show-ring heritage, but loves praise and pets from humans. However, you may get a small bark if you startle her upon entry, and she may wander out of her crate to see if you have a free hand for petting or treats for her.
Cheyenne the aussie/lab
Cheyenne is a 1 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd/ Lab mix and comes to the office with Michelle, tax preparer and bookkeeper. While she can be shy with new people, she has love in abundance to give. She is energetic and curious and always excited for the next adventure. Cheyenne loves car rides, hikes, kids of all ages and the water. However, her number one favorite thing to do is fetch, which she will play endlessly. She gives the best hugs (and kisses if you are not careful!) and is extremely affectionate and loyal to her people. If you give her a cookie, she will be your best friend. Although she sometimes forgets, she has really great manners if you ask them of her.
