I used to use national chains like H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt to have my income taxes prepared. Because I got sick of paying the exorbitant amount of money these companies charge me for simple tax returns, I reached out to several local companies.
Everything went very smoothly from start to end with Nissen and Associate. McKenzie, the office assistant, responded to my inquiry promptly. It was easy to set up an intake appointment with one of their tax preparers, Michelle. I dropped off my tax documents with Michelle. She emailed me with a couple of questions before finishing up my return. I swung by the office and signed a couple of documents to authorize them to file taxes on my behalf, and that’s it! Painless! Because Michelle was able to give me a great discount, I paid significantly less than I paid H&R least year.
I only interacted with McKenzie and Michelle, but they are both friendly yet professional. I loved that I never felt rushed or they never tried to upsell anything (like other companies I mentioned above). I highly recommend Nissen and Associates! If you end up using their service because of my review, don’t forget to mention Masanori sent you!
